Your contribution to research data is critical to those trying to finding a way to treat and reduce health issues in our breed.
Research into Bone Cancer – the Dog Genome Project.
Dentition in Growing Irish Wolfhounds from 8 weeks to 1 year.
There are several growth phases in the jaw and dentition of the Irish Wolfhound breed. A concern has arisen that Veterinary Surgeons are not recognizing this and are referring puppies for dental correction, particularly those with inset canine teeth – when in fact, this is a normal phase that will resolve itself. The IWHG is collecting case studies so if you have experienced this please tell us about it.
